Leader in Southeast Multifamily Hiring Director of Operations/Property Management in Charlotte

A regional multifamily firm with deep roots in the Southeast has begun searching for an experienced executive to oversee its regional managers and property performance. For more than 35 years, this privately held company has managed, built and acquired residential property in promising suburban markets. Its operations are extensive, and this opportunity’s scope takes in responsibilities for more than 15,000 units at 72 properties.

Specifically, the new director of operations will act as the liaison between the company and property owners while overseeing mid-level managers. He or she will supervise regional performance, revenue growth and expenses, in addition to day-to-day management of the portfolio. The successful candidate will also be active in property lease-ups, community inspections and in determining the best ways to improve profitability.

Applicants should bring a minimum of seven years of multifamily experience, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. The director of operations will have high-level responsibility for the properties’ hiring and personnel. As this company has more than 500 employees, the job will demand someone who can demonstrate his or her talent for management.
