Desirable LA Portfolio Needs Asset Manager With Hospitality Expertise

A leadership position has opened with a growing name in multi-family and extended-stay property whose portfolio boasts historic redevelopment projects, desirable urban mixed-use buildings and high-end furnished rentals. This is a closely held firm with a national reach and a successful investment approach guided by 30 years of experience. The firm needs an asset manager eager to maximize returns across multiple properties in the greater Los Angeles area.

He or she will oversee the administrative, financial and operational functions of a diverse portfolio that includes traditional apartments and corporate extended-stay rentals. Working closely with third-party property managers and leasing agents, the asset manager will help approve budgets, leases and forecasts. This professional will provide regular portfolio reporting and analysis to the firm’s leadership, including market studies and investment projections. This position also plays an important role in acquisitions, providing support for due diligence and underwriting. The asset manager will coordinate post-acquisition activities.

Minimum requirements include three years of experience in property management, leasing and operations. Past positions must include operational experience in the extended-stay or hospitality industries. A relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred, as is industry accreditation and knowledge of property management software.
