Leader in Airport Industrial Property Seeks Manager for Western U.S. Portfolio

Responsible for more than 800,000 square feet serving dozens of tenants, the next Houston-based property manager for a predominant name in airport CRE will enjoy substantial potential for professional growth and meaningful leadership within the organization. Reporting to the director of property management and working in concert with other senior executives, the new PM will take responsibility for the company’s portfolio in the western U.S. As part of a long-standing investment organization involved in financing, development, acquisition and leasing, this professional will also benefit from exposure to all aspects of the industry.

The position, likewise, oversees every corner of portfolio management. This includes the takeover of new and newly acquired properties, negotiation and contract management for tenant improvements, property-level budgeting, risk management, long-term cap-ex planning and mentoring of the assistant property manager. Relationships are paramount in this job, and the new PM will ensure high tenant satisfaction and will successfully resolve issues for superior customer service.

The company needs someone who is highly self-sufficient, honest and entrepreneurial. Construction knowledge will be highly valuable, and candidates should possess a solid understanding of property maintenance and systems. Value engineering experience is required, as is a talent for cultivating vendor relationships and successful negotiation. Past positions should demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects and budgets effectively while creating strong ties with tenants. The new PM will also be willing to travel to portfolio properties.
