Want to join a company that’s a leader in not only multifamily real estate, but also in innovative employment practices? Eager to advance your career while enjoying generous benefits for retirement, continuing education, community involvement and discounted employee stock purchases? An organization repeatedly praised for its standout workplace culture has an opening for a project engineer who will assume a wide range of responsibilities to help bring new apartment communities to completion.
Reporting to the vice president of construction, the newest member of this national organization’s friendly Phoenix team will be essential to managing schedules and subcontractors. The project engineer also will maintain construction documents, expedite material deliveries and maintain quality control programs. Additionally, this professional will help oversee project specifications, RFIs and contract compliance, as well as on-site accounting and other administrative tasks in support of the project manager.
Candidates should bring at least two years of relevant construction experience. A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in construction management, project management or engineering. This company also is looking for someone with experience using construction and project-management software, such as Primavera, Revit, Autodesk, SketchUp and On-Screen Takeoff. Multifamily experience is ideal but not as important as attitude, adaptability and work ethic.
