Reporting to the vice president of operations, the new corporate purchasing manager will enjoy a wide scope of responsibilities. These will encompass development of companywide purchasing processes and negotiation of critical vendor contracts. This new executive will lead sourcing efforts while also managing rebate and model home programs. He or she will oversee the variance process and coordinate with the senior estimator to obtain a wide range of vendor bids across all markets. Additionally, this person will hire and supervise all purchasing administrators.
The company is looking for someone with both management experience and a background that entails purchasing in multiple markets. Candidates should bring a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience. The new corporate purchasing manager also will share the company’s collaborative mindset while bringing a strong sense of leadership and robust organizational skills. Prior experience with Kova software is a plus.
