Manage Tenant Construction for Houston-Headquartered Leader in CRE

He or she will take oversight of landlord and tenant construction and design activities. Working alongside leaders in construction, leasing and property management, the new manager will oversee contract negotiations and development of budgets. This professional will ensure construction aligns with project contracts, building permits and insurance requirements. At project completion, the new manager will conduct punch-list walks and coordinate delivery to tenants.

The job requires a related bachelor’s degree and at least three years in commercial tenant improvement construction. Candidates should have an understanding of retail leasing processes. Additionally, the role requires knowledge of building codes, cost estimation, contract negotiation and project controls. The new manager will be an excellent communicator able to multi-task and bring a positive attitude to the team.
