Senior Property Manager Needed for Multiple Retail Centers in Miami

Two Miami-area shopping centers totaling nearly 400,000 square feet need an experienced leader to take over their management. These are well-established locations surrounded by favorable business and residential demographics. What’s more, the company managing them is proud to have earned its place among the largest retail firms in the country. Culture-focused, it hires people dedicated to client service, and this well-paid position will be no exception.

The senior property manager will take top-level oversight of all operations at both centers. Working on site, he or she will take full fiscal responsibility for these properties, including their budgets, reconciliations, accounts receivable and collections. Other duties will include inspections, monthly reports and coordination of vendors. Likewise, this person will lead capital improvements by handling contractor bidding, managing projects and supervising construction.

Candidates must possess at least eight years of retail property management experience. A college degree is required, as is a Florida real estate license acquired in advance or shortly after taking the job. Relevant professional designations and the ability to speak Spanish are preferred. The ideal candidate also will have experience with relevant construction management. The new senior PM will be a tactical, strategic thinker who possesses great communication skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
