This professional’s decision-making and management skill will be critical to these new communities. He or she will oversee budgets, schedules and quality control. This will involve the coordination of subcontractors and vendors. Additionally, the project superintendent will serve as a buyer contact during construction and will administer the company’s warranty program.
The position calls for a broad range of experience in all phases of residential construction. Candidates should bring five to 10 years of relevant experience, at a minimum. A background in home building and community development also should include at least three years as a manager.
