Want to showcase your construction expertise and project coordination skills with a recognized NYC-metro developer? Would you like to work for a company that puts community building and architecture first, with multiple awards to back it up? If so, a growing builder of luxury multifamily developments and townhomes needs a chief construction scheduler to handle critical elements of its project workflow.
This professional will earn a generous six-figure salary to develop resource-loaded design and construction schedules, tracking progress through completion. He or she will present management with regular status reports and earned-value analysis. As an essential member of the project team, the scheduler also will monitor contractor progress and troubleshoot issues.
The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience managing complex construction schedules. Past positions, ideally in project management, will demonstrate expertise in wood-frame apartment construction, as well as high-rise concrete and steel apartment construction. This should include experience with design-build projects and development of time-impact analyses. Previous work using critical path scheduling is preferred, and the ability to establish accurate construction sequencing is a must. Experience with construction claims and change orders is a plus. The new scheduler will be highly skilled in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
