Negotiate Leases in Phoenix for a Major Retail Property Firm

A new senior leasing manager will soon shape high-stakes deals for a national name in shopping centers. Based in Phoenix and working within a U.S portfolio of nearly 50 destination properties, this professional will negotiate long-term leases and maintain critical relationships with national and local retailers.

The new manager also will monitor merchandizing and market conditions to determine the best use of assigned properties. This person will answer when prospective tenants call, conducting market tours and negotiating letters of intent. He or she will then contribute to the leasing process through completion of tenant improvements. Ongoing responsibilities will include lease expirations, sales termination rights and lease options. Reporting to the senior vice president of leasing, this professional also will review sales and provide budget information to senior management.

A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of related experience are required. Past positions should include pad and/or peripheral leasing. Big box experience is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of retail property marketing and merchandizing.
