Working closely with senior management, he or she will establish a strategic leasing plan for each property under management, as well as related merchandising plans and budgets. Aggressive pursuit of new tenants and renewals is an essential part of the job, potentially to include canvassing, marketing campaigns, cold calls, market research and representing the firm at industry events. Serving existing clients will entail frequent site visits, while executing new deals will involve negotiation of lease terms and close coordination with the construction office.

This position calls for someone with both leadership qualities and the ability to work well within teams. The new senior leasing representative will excel at communicating one-on-one and in large groups. Five to six years of retail leasing experience will also demonstrate an ability to multitask and solve problems in difficult situations. Additionally, this position requires a bachelor’s degree.
