Leading Builder Hiring Two Procurement Executives in Florida

One of the nation’s most successful homebuilders intends to fill two openings in procurement leadership that feature generous base salaries, bonus potential and a significant impact on operations at the division level. The new strategic sourcing director and the new division director of procurement will optimize their respective parts of the supply chain, overseeing procurement strategy and pricing.

Both professionals will hire, lead and develop division procurement teams. In addition to overseeing supplier selection, they will ensure strong supplier relationships, as well as contract compliance. The strategic sourcing director will work from his or her choice of locations around Florida. This executive also will lead the CPM bid-out process for assigned categories, as well as category option programming and estimating for new product development. Located in Southeast Florida, the division director will be an active member of the division operations team, coordinating procurement activities and priorities with the zone director of procurement. He or she also will take responsibility for account-category level house cost budgets.

These positions require a relevant bachelor’s degree alongside extensive knowledge of residential construction, purchasing and personnel management. ISCM accreditation is preferred. Both roles call for a minimum of five years of experience, which should include jobs with supervisory responsibilities.
