The new vice president’s direction will guide the breadth of the development process. He or she will analyze project risks for the division’s leadership and will oversee due diligence activities. This person will also help form feasibility budgets and schedules for service providers, assessing bids and helping to prepare the subsequent contracts. The position also coordinates entitlement and HOA matters. The vice president will hire and evaluate associated staff, identifying training opportunities and providing continuous coaching.
This homebuilder is looking for someone with a minimum of five years of related experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree. Candidates should demonstrate their skills in negotiation, contract administration and communicating their analyses to executives. The new vice president will have a talent for team building and a deep knowledge of the single-family development process.
