Leader in Luxury Hotel Construction Needs Miami Interior Design Manager

Want to oversee the interior design process for premiere vacation properties under brands like Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons? Are you leadership-minded – the kind of professional that colleagues count on to drive projects to completion? Could your career benefit from the opportunities offered by a private yet well-diversified organization that’s among the leading hospitality firms in North America? If so, this Miami-based organization is looking for an interior design project manager to join its team.

Reporting to the vice president of design, this professional will help coordinate the work of consultants, procurement agents, contractors, vendors and co-workers to bring stunning interior layouts to life. He or she will approve all aspects of fixture and design-related procurement for assigned projects, ensuring they align with brand standards and expected costs. The new PM also will see that products are installed on-time and as-ordered. This professional will prepare budgets and timelines, ensuring they are met by conducting onsite visits and participating in project meetings. Additional duties will include post-project follow-up and assistance with the disposal of previous hotel stock.

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree with a focus on interior design, as well as three years in the industry. That experience should demonstrate extensive knowledge of the design process. As well, the PM will be skilled at communicating with people in varying roles while coordinating multiple competing tasks.
