An exceptional building in a flourishing West Houston neighborhood needs an equally exceptional property manager. This large, multi-story property boasts LEED Gold design, elegant architecture and expansive views that attract high-quality tenants. Surrounding developments offer dozens of restaurants and amenities. Beyond the property itself, the position offers the chance to work for a respected name in CRE with local ownership and a national reach. This organization invests in ongoing professional development for its team, as well as a robust compensation package and generous paid time off.
Working in close contact with owners, lenders, tenants and vendors, the new property manager will head this building’s operations. This will include direct supervision of maintenance employees and contractors. Business planning will encompass budgeting, cash flow analysis, related property accounting and administration of capital projects. Working with the leasing department, he or she will plan tenant retention programs and property activities. From the execution of legal documents at move-in, to the inspection at move-out, the manager will maintain excellent relationships with tenants. This professional also will solicit bids for contracted services, administer insurance claims and maintain safety and security plans.
Class-A experience is a must, and the role calls for at least five years in commercial office management. This should include administration of complex leases. A related bachelor’s degree and candidacy for a CPM or RPA are preferred. This organization looks for candidates active in community and industry organizations, as well as people who are highly professional, detail-oriented and good at solving problems.
