Reporting to the chief investment officer of a growing company with property in 10 states, the new investment analyst will take charge of the research and underwriting of large acquisitions. The successful candidate will develop a detailed knowledge of the local market, tenant preferences and potential investment targets. The analyst will make contact with property owners and acquire the documents relevant to a sale, including reports, surveys, title records and environmental studies. Drawing from this information, he or she also will assist the investment officer in making cash flow projections, sales projections, pricing parameters, comparable rental analyses, financial modeling, letters of intent and other components critical to the deal. This includes assistance throughout the transaction, from due diligence to closing. Interested candidates should bring a bachelor’s degree, three years of experience or some combination thereof to the position. Required relevant experience could include positions in commercial or multifamily portfolio management, acquisitions, valuations or finance, with experience in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina markets strongly preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Word and Argus are strongly preferred, as well.
