The pre-construction manager will lead design, estimating and planning for complex retail projects. This executive will nail down project schedules, estimates and scopes of work while selecting general contractors and consultants. This professional’s expertise will inform forecasts and budgets. He or she also will contribute to project phasing plans and documentation. The new manager will coordinate closely with leaders in development, design, tenant coordination and property management.

The ideal candidate will bring a bachelor’s degree and five to seven years of experience in construction management. A background in retail projects is preferred, as are prior positions with a large general contractor or retail developer. The new pre-construction manager will be extremely skilled at problem solving, analytical thinking and communicating with a variety of teams.
