Large Portfolio Needs Multifamily Pro in Charlotte or South Florida

An experienced asset manager will soon assume leadership of a portfolio of high-value properties across multiple states for a long-successful CRE firm. This organization has managed and developed properties in competitive markets across the Southeast for nearly four decades. Closely held, it’s proud to offer extensive opportunities for professional development alongside a robust compensation and benefits package. The newest member of its management will oversee mostly residential assets while reporting directly to one of the company’s directors.

The new manager will offer strategic direction that maximizes investment returns and asset value while working with stakeholders inside and outside the organization. This will include budgeting and business planning, including plan development for capital improvements. He or she will advise senior leaders on existing asset valuations and forecasts as well as potential investments, taking an active part in acquisitions by contributing to due diligence and market analysis. The asset manager also will direct dispositions, overseeing third-party consultants as needed. Other portfolio responsibilities will include lender compliance and evaluation of property conditions and personnel.

This is a hands-on position and needs a professional with extensive asset management experience. Ideally, this will include five to seven years in related roles that include management of mixed-use and residential properties. Past positions also should demonstrate the ability to craft and execute investment strategies. A degree, relevant finance knowledge and proficiency with Argus are required. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator able to handle multiple competing demands at once.
