National Firm Hiring Multifamily Maintenance Manager for Expansive Nashville Property

A valuable and carefully managed residential complex needs a seasoned manager to oversee all aspects of its maintenance. The property encompasses more than 30 buildings with two pools, tennis courts and other amenities. It’s managed by a private firm with decades of success operating more than 30,000 apartments across the country.

This position offers an opportunity to lead and train personnel in maintenance, grounds keeping, janitorial and related areas. He or she will report to the general manager while also advising the GM on relevant budgeting, capital programs and purchasing. Responsibilities also include preventative maintenance programs, regular building inspections and implementation of capital programs. The new manager will ensure 24-hour maintenance coverage is conducted in an efficient and courteous manner.

This job calls for someone familiar with all aspects of multifamily maintenance. Candidates must be HVAC certified and ideally will bring at least five years of relevant experience. This should include positions managing and training a team. Project management and purchasing skills are important, as is general construction knowledge. The new maintenance manager also will bring a high level of professionalism and customer service.
