Team-Minded Property Manager Needed for Desirable Memorial Area Multi-Family Community

A resident-focused leader will soon have the chance to manage a Class-A multifamily community for a privately held company notable for the long tenure of both its executives and its employees. With more than a dozen properties in several states, this organization can offer the stability that comes from owning the asset under management, along with the potential of a company that continues to grow. Additionally, the new property manager will enjoy excellent compensation, benefits and retirement contributions.

In turn, he or she will maintain the high standards and positive tenant experiences of an amenity-filled garden community at a desirable Houston address. Taking ultimate responsibility for all elements of the property’s operation, this professional will also maximize income potential while preparing and executing annual budgets. Hiring, supervision and development of staff fall within the scope of this position, as does supervision of contracted services. Other areas of oversight include: marketing, sales, financial reporting, customer service, resident retention, accounts payable, rent collection and property maintenance.

This calls for someone with a talent for building resident relations, as well as an excellent professional appearance and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. He or she will set a strong example for team members, training them well and reflecting the pride and values of this unique company. Candidates should bring three to five years of experience managing Class-A apartments. Past roles should involve extensive resident relations in communities with at least 350 units. ARM, CAM and/or RAM designations are preferred, as is a strong educational background and relevant computer skills. This person will be a proven leader adept at communicating with all stakeholders in the community.
