An established builder with a growing presence in several states needs the right construction executives to lead its divisions in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. These positions represent an opportunity to expand operations in these promising markets while also contributing to a closely held company that’s demonstrated a commitment to employees and the communities they serve over five decades.
The new division managers will enjoy a broad range of oversight, with ultimate responsibility for the divisions’ personnel and success. This includes direct supervision of each division’s sales manager, field managers and administrators. Additionally, the role includes profit and loss responsibility, with reporting, projections and budgeting in coordination with the company’s headquarters. These new leaders will take charge of the divisions’ sales and marketing, as well as initiatives to enhance their bottom lines. Duties to this end include new business development, house cost management, value engineering and negotiations with trade partners. Personnel responsibilities include team training and mentoring of construction and purchasing managers.
The successful candidates will bring an extensive background in residential construction, with knowledge of both the entry-level housing market and a retail approach to homebuilding. General office management experience is required, and the positions will also entail coordination with the leaders of other divisions and executives at the home office. This requires professionals who are excellent communicators, organized and who show the initiative to negotiate deadlines and a fast-changing environment.
