San Diego Project Manager Needed to Continue a Prominent Multifamily Firm’s Growth

Do you enjoy watching large projects come to life? Do you like the challenge of directing multiple teams and resources to make construction goals a reality? Are you interested in being part of a company that values a positive work environment for its people? If so, a longtime leader in Southwest multifamily housing has an opening for a project manager in San Diego.

This person will help lead job sites from grading through occupancy. The PM will supervise construction progress in the field, coordinating subcontractors and the delivery of all materials throughout the construction timeline. At the same time, he or she will maintain positive relationships with local permitting authorities. Duties pre-construction will include construction phasing to determine model location and production starts, as well as value engineering during the design process.

This job calls for at least seven years of relevant experience, with a related bachelor’s degree preferred. Wide-ranging construction knowledge should include an understanding of building codes and permitting processes. Multifamily knowledge is required, as is proficiency with Bluebeam software. The new project manager will be independent, hands-on and adept at managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
