Homebuilder Hiring Vice Presidents of Sales and Marketing in Birmingham and Nashville

An established, independently owned homebuilder is searching for new vice presidents to lead its growth in Birmingham, Ala., and Nashville, Tenn. This position is ideal for respected homebuilding sales executives familiar with either of these regions who are excited at the prospect of bringing this builder’s product into new markets.

Starting up the firm’s presence in a new city will involve building a local sales force while serving as the face of the company in the city’s real estate community. Going forward, the vice presidents of sales and marketing will drive traffic to this builder’s communities, conduct market analyses and tailor sales strategies to each new project. They also will advise the marketing team on sales campaigns, promotions and Internet leads.

To move into these new markets, this company needs executives with experience building a team and managing managers. Reporting to the national president of sales and marketing, the successful candidates will be responsible for hiring, managing, training and motivating their respective sales forces. Candidates should bring five to 10 years of homebuilding sales and marketing management experience. Knowledge of Sales Simplicity or similar software is a plus.
