Reporting to the community manager, this person will take on a wide scope of responsibilities. As the community’s head of maintenance, he or she will train and assist in hiring related personnel. This team will have a hand in all areas of apartment maintenance, including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances. The new manager also will establish preventative maintenance and energy savings programs. This leader will source and supervise suppliers and vendors. Other duties will touch on work scheduling, organizing service requests and relevant recordkeeping.
The position requires someone with substantial experience in multifamily maintenance. This should include at least three years in a supervisory role. Other qualifications include HVAC certification and experience with pool maintenance.
