The company understands just how critical roofing systems are to its high-value commercial assets. A dedicated team takes responsibility for all repairs, inspections and new construction in the region. The manager will oversee this work, communicating with tenants and property managers when repairs are needed or roof penetrations are called for during tenant build-out. During new construction, he or she will work with contractors to ensure quality and progress targets are met, from project planning through final punch lists. Similar oversight will be required of company staff performing repairs. At all properties, the manager’s team will perform annual surveys and any needed post-storm inspections. The manager will ensure all roofs and drainage systems remain in good repair and meet all warranty requirements.
This position calls for a construction pro with five years of relevant roofing-industry experience. He or she should bring extensive knowledge of commercial roof systems, as well as roof-top mechanical systems and relevant aspects of wall and window systems. This should include experience with new construction, maintenance and repairs. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with documenting and reporting property conditions.
