Major Multi-Family Builder/Developer seeks Assistant Vice President of Construction

A leading full-service real estate firm in the Midwest needs a strategic thinker to help plan and coordinate its projects. This assistant vice president position oversees budget development, RFPs, contract negotiation and project decision making that draws from on-site observation, P/L data and cost-to-completion analysis.

With responsibility for projects’ schedules and budgets, this position demands a solid background in construction management. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction science or a related field, the position requires a minimum of 10 years of field experience in multi-family construction and a minimum of seven years as a project manager supporting projects in excess of $15 million. It also calls for experience in estimating, procurement, personnel management and data analysis.
