A high-stakes project management position has opened for the right residential construction professional in Phoenix. Earning a six-figure base plus bonus potential, this executive will be entrusted with a high degree of autonomy while preparing sites for leading homebuilders. Reporting to the senior vice president, the new land development project manager will take responsibility for planning, scheduling and resource allocation. Duties will include feasibility assessments, budget development, securing project approvals from local governments and directing the entitlement process. He or she will hire contractors and consultants, creating schedules and monitoring their work. The project manager also will build essential relationships with external partners and investors while ensuring on-time lot delivery.

This position calls for a minimum of five years in land development or a related field. This should include experience managing complex projects. Candidates should demonstrate a talent for motivating teams and managing competing priorities while working independently. Occasional travel is required. The company also will be looking for knowledge of budgeting, improvement plans and project accounting.
