Senior Property Manager to Head Large Team in Houston

A wide-reaching leadership role has opened at the headquarters of a leading property firm in Houston. The senior property manager will serve as the assistant to a department head while supervising managers of individual properties and the chief of engineering.

This professional will support headquarters initiatives with senior management, including annual property budgets and property staffing. He or she will oversee management agreements with clients, managing transitions as needed. At the same time, this role takes top-level oversight of day-to-day property operations. This includes continuous development of employees under management to ensure they reach their professional potential. The senior property manager will help the team resolve property issues and will develop standard operating procedures. He or she will ensure all assets meet high standards for performance, operations and tenant service.

This position calls for several years of experience in office property management, as well as experience managing a large team. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to motivate and mentor employees while holding them accountable. Knowledge of relevant property accounting and reporting is required.
