The new PM will head diverse projects at multi-family communities and other properties. Reporting to the director of facility management, he or she will work closely with regional managers to prioritize short- and long-term capital improvement programs. This professional will hire contractors, creating scopes of work and project schedules. The PM will review contractors’ work, project costs and change orders. He or she also will lead maintenance initiatives that create value and improve profitability.
The scope of this role calls for a degree in engineering, architecture or construction management, along with at least two years of related experience. This should include past work developing bid documents and managing contractors. Other desired skills include budget development, familiarity with Yardi and the ability to interpret financial statements.
