Global Leader in CRE Hiring Project Managers at Two Levels

Are you eager to advance your career as part of a leading name in commercial real estate with more than $5 billion in annual revenue? Would you value the opportunities offered by a diversified international organization committed to professional development? If so, a prestigious firm is expanding its project management talent.

The team will be adding both project managers and assistant project managers in multiple cities. Both roles will be essential to the oversight of work plans, timelines and budgets on behalf of clients. The PMs will take charge of day-to-day management of projects and their scopes, coordinating assignments for other team members. They will track project timelines and costs, maintaining schedules, resolving problems and advising corporate leadership of risks and changes. The assistant project managers also will implement a range of project services for clients, from the design phase through completion. These professionals will help ensure effective management of consultant and construction undertakings. The assistant PM position also will be responsible for weekly report and budget preparation, as well as the maintenance of project documentation and correspondence. They will serve as a backup for the PMs, when needed.

This organization is looking for at least two years of related experience for the assistant project manager position and a minimum of five years for the project manager. The PM role also requires a related bachelor’s degree, along with PMP certification or the ability to obtain it. Additional certifications, such as CFM, PE, AIA, LEED or CMAA, are preferred. Project manager candidates should bring knowledge of MEP, infrastructure and facility-related projects, as well as proficiency with project management software. For the assistant project manager position, a bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Candidates for this role should demonstrate experience with construction and contract administration, as well as knowledge of relevant accounting and budgeting. Both positions call for excellent communication skills applied through close work with vendors, clients, contractors and senior managers. A talent for organization and balancing competing priorities also will be essential.
