An outgoing, creative and highly knowledgeable expert in residential construction will soon have the chance to expand a leading consulting firm’s business in Texas. Over more than a decade, this respected organization has worked with many of the largest names in homebuilding to guide marketing and development strategies that consistently generate superior returns. The new regional VP of consulting will nurture this firm’s existing presence in Texas while leading its pursuit of yet-untapped business opportunities across the state.

Business development is essential to this position, and the new Texas VP will have the character and the personality needed to act as a figurehead for the firm. The resulting reports will encompass information about competing properties, sales rates and regional demand factors, along with the unique advantages and limitations of a given site.

The VP position calls for someone with both an analytical mind and a passion for acquiring new business. This role could be an invigorating opportunity for a career homebuilding executive in strategic sales and marketing, consumer research or acquisitions. Located in Dallas, Houston or possibly Austin, he or she will also come to the role with a bachelor’s degree, at least seven years of relevant experience and an expert’s knowledge of Texas homebuilding. The ideal candidate will be connected with leaders in the field and their respective professional organizations. Frequent interaction with clients and people at all levels will call for excellent speaking and interpersonal skills. At the same time, analysis duties require advanced Excel knowledge, market research skills and project management experience.
