Investor Relations Analyst
The contributions of this professional will touch on all aspects of the company. He or she will provide investor and firm-level analytics while taking responsibility for investor due diligence materials. Reporting to the director of investor relations and fund analytics – along with the investment management teams – the investor relations analyst will also play a major role in investor meeting preparation, potentially to include aspects of relationship management. There will be a strong focus on investor relations and on raising equity. This professional will also help prepare materials for annual investment meetings, maintain performance reports, conduct regular portfolio analyses, produce market overviews and contribute to the due-diligence process.
The role calls for two to three years in investor relations or in a related analyst role in real estate. Experience in data manipulation is a plus. A relevant degree is required. Argus knowledge is a plus, and excellent presentation skills using PowerPoint are essential. Strong working knowledge of real estate will complement the successful candidate’s talent for communication and insightful data analysis.
Junior Fund Analyst
Working closely with the fund management and analytics team, this professional will help maintain financial models and analyses benefiting portfolio and capital initiatives. Financial planning and general portfolio management tasks will fall under the scope of his or her duties, as will investment pipeline tracking, report coordination, market research, support for investor due diligence and data input to maintain financial models. This is an ideal position for someone new to the industry and looking for a stepping stone to advancement in other areas of real estate. The job offers valuable exposure to Argus, as well as a wide range of skills in private equity CRE.
Candidates should bring an undergraduate degree in real estate, accounting or finance, along with basic knowledge of the real estate or investment industries. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as an analyst. Additionally, he or she will be highly organized and a superb communicator who is able to work independently. This professional will also be able to curate data and draw meaningful insight from it. Argus modelling software experience is preferred but not required.
