A privately held firm that has closed more than $1.5 billion in CRE acquisitions and financing across the Southeast over the last decade seeks a capital markets associate to join its team in the West Palm Beach, Fla., area.
This person will be responsible for the analysis and management of loan materials for capital market investment properties. Some of the duties that fall within this position include: Maintaining relationships with CRE capital market providers while providing crucial information on capital availability and pricing to acquisition and development officers; preparing financing packages with other investment professionals; assistance finalizing key deal terms with the chief investment officer; coordinating loan documentation with legal counsel, the transaction leader and others; and responding to requests for information related to financing, lending status and portfolio debt.
These and other responsibilities require a well-rounded professional with robust experience in commercial property. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, five years of related experience or some combination thereof. Also mandatory is experience in commercial and multifamily acquisitions, portfolio management, valuation or real estate finance. Excel, Word and Argus proficiency are strongly preferred. The position also calls for someone with demonstrated skills in multitasking, presentation, interpersonal communication and team building.
