S&P 500 REIT seeks talented Senior Property Manager for North Carolina market

One of the leading real estate companies in the United States is looking to entrust its assets in Raleigh Durham, North Carolina to a new senior property manager.

A Standard & Poors 500 company, this REIT has built a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of senior living, medical office, hospital, and life sciences spaces in nearly 40 states. In the Raleigh Durham, the company needs an experienced and self-directed leader. This will offer the right person the chance, not only to oversee high-value medical property, but also to make an impression at a company with plenty of headroom and a focus on creative problem solving and employee achievement.

Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will build relationships in an established region that remains ripe for portfolio expansion. The position entails creation of a tenant satisfaction program, as well as marketing strategies to optimize available space. Standard property management duties also include oversight of staff, regular reporting to executives, expenditure authorization, budgeting and capital improvement planning.

The senior property manager will come to the position with at least seven years in commercial property management. Preference is given to candidates with a relevant degree and professional certifications, such as a real estate license, CPM, CFM or RPA. Likewise, the firm seeks applicants with prior experience at companies managing or developing medical office property. Cultivating relationships with medical professionals and meeting their needs are critical aspects of the position, as are strong interpersonal skills and organization.
