The new manager’s leadership will ensure the architecture team delivers efficient, desirable layouts accompanied by accurate drawings and specs. This person’s primary focus will be the development of the team members under his or her oversight. This will include hiring and contributions to decisions on staffing levels and compensation. As well, the architecture manager will conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, growth plans and training while holding team members accountable. His or her operational leadership will ensure goals are met and communication flows easily among relevant departments. This professional also will seek out process improvements and will have a large influence on the company’s homes and products.

Key to this position is a personality that lends itself to supportive, relational leadership. This manager must also be motivated, organized and adept at solving problems.
