Reporting to the division manager, the construction executive will ensure the delivery of 100 percent complete, zero-defect homes. He or she will oversee trade partner performance while onboarding and developing construction department staff. This professional also will take responsibility for job costs and variances, reducing costs based on feedback from construction personnel. The company is looking for at least three years of construction industry experience, including roles in production homebuilding. Candidates should demonstrate their knowledge of purchasing, vendor negotiations, takeoff procedures, safety practices, construction plans and building codes. Previous experience as a vendor representative is a plus. The job requires a knack for organization and the ability to manage construction teams in multiple communities.
