Two talented designers will soon have the chance to join an organization long-admired for its in-house architectural team. This high-end, custom builder needs senior AutoCAD designers eager to apply their skills to a range of challenges in their field. These professionals will join expanding offices in Clearwater, Fla., and Charlotte, N.C., where deeply experienced teams create new model homes, make custom changes to existing home designs and produce working drawings for exquisite new homes.

The company has been rapidly expanding its operations throughout the southeast and Midwest and features robust product lines catering to a diverse range of markets. The product includes Mediterranean, European, coastal, traditional, neo-traditional and mountain styles of architecture.

These positions will handle the design and drafting of floor framing and truss/rafter layouts, as well as other drawings requested by builders. This company’s designers work with an attention to accuracy, consistency and thoroughness, answering any questions from the field that arise about their work.

At least five years of high-end residential design experience is required for this role. That must include up-to-date knowledge of AutoCAD, in addition to two-plus years of designing 3D models in Revit. The successful candidate will also bring broad homebuilding knowledge, including familiarity with relevant code requirements.
