A Texas-based private real estate investment and fund management firm is looking for a forward-thinking financial analyst with an entrepreneurial spirit to support the firm’s Acquisitions and Investment Management teams. The rapidly-growing organization focuses on US real estate development and investment projects, including office, land, multi-family, and hotel assets. As the firm grows, they’re looking for a candidate who is as equally committed to growing his or her career in a role that will expose this person to all areas of investments and development, and would ideally be developed into a member of the Acquisitions team. The new investment associate will thrive in the firm’s fast-paced, innovative environment, and bring a fearless attitude to the role.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years analysis experience in commercial real estate development or investment. This professional will have impeccable organizational skills, independent initiative, and an eagerness to learn. Good communication skills are essential, as the role will involve authoring research report summaries, letters of intent, and other memoranda. He or she will also assist in financial underwriting, market analysis, and feasibility and sponsor evaluations for acquisitions, developments and joint-venture opportunities. A bachelor’s degree is required, while an MBA or Masters in Real Estate and any experience in development, design, entitlements, permitting, construction or project management is strongly preferred. Experience with Argus is also a plus, but not required.
