Reporting to the chief operating officer, the new real estate manager will be responsible for the development and performance of 12 agents. He or she will motivate these professionals to set and meet production goals while mentoring each through team meetings, training and one-on-one mentoring. The manager’s marketing and sales expertise will guide forecasts for overall budgets and production levels. He or she will also recruit new agents and manage lead distribution. This person will actively maintain the reputation of the agency, promoting its work through community events, programs at local real estate schools and in social media.

Above all, the manager will be accountable for client experience and team results. The successful candidate will have closed at least 50 real estate deals, with 10 completed in the last two years. Additionally, he or she will have at least two years of experience leading, managing and motivating a real estate team. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. A broker’s license is also preferred but not a requirement for the position. In addition to their sales experience, candidates should show they are driven, analytical and committed to the success of their teams.
